The North Wales Business Exhibition 2019

On Wednesday 30th October 2019 the Metal Project exhibited at a fantastic event held in North Wales.

Delivered by the Deeside Business Forum and hosted by Coleg Cambria, the exhibition was well supported by a cross section of businesses from the North Wales region. This type of event is crucial in providing an excellent opportunity for businesses to network, showcase their products and services and meet business leaders and influencers.

The exhibition kicked off with a networking breakfast and further events were scheduled throughout the day including Meet the Buyer, Dragons Den and Meet the Professionals. There was also ample opportunity to walk around the exhibition stands and network with businesses.

The hosts Deeside Business Forum (DBF) are an association of organisations and individuals committed to working together in order to improve the trading environment for businesses.

DBF is becoming the most influential business forum in North Wales by operating a business support network for an extensive business community, providing a voice for all to campaign and promote the area regionally, nationally and internationally to policymakers. DBF is committed to ensuring that strategic knowledge and insight will promote business growth by connecting businesses to other networks and business partners, facilitating successful outcomes, prosperity and sustainability for all.

As a pan-Wales project, networking opportunities like the North Wales Business Exhibition are essential. The METaL Project are based in Swansea University, but are able to work with businesses across Wales delivering short, part funded, work based training in advanced materials and manufacturing. The project is supported by the European Social Fund and Welsh Government.
